Weird. Something very weird has started happening. I'm watching TV again, and I don't just mean sitting email farming before bed with something cheap, American and crime based flickering in the background before bed. I'm really watching, seeking out, giving my undivided attention to, and enjoying television again. All this thanks to the BBC iPlayer (4oD why oh why not for Macs?) I'm addicted to Mad Men, Willy's Wonky Chocolate Factory, and the White series. And, I'm not alone:

La B, There's been much excitement about the figures at t'Corporation, as it's good news to have good news, plus there's some encouraging long tail action in evidence, with people squeezing out more value from the BBC than merely hoovering up old 'Stenders. Yoot' and quality factual are performing well in't time-shift. Cue much vertigo-inducing thinking about content and platforms, where it's all going, what it all means and, quelle surprise, who's driving. Noggin T(echnology Correspondent) Nog x
